Is that a French bulldog? If so, I read that they were bred for maximum cuteness but their health suffers because of it, so looking at them makes me sad.
No, she’s a pug - unfortunately the breed has similar issues, but mine is healthy and breathes properly.
Me too. If I get another after her I’ll probably go rescue, not sure that supporting breeders who breed for traits that cause health issues is a good thing.

Everyone has such cute pets. I have none myself but I have had several different types of pets in my lifetime.
It was mostly because my two girls Guinevere and Marjorie kept giving birth to more kittens and they were apparently too young to be spayed so we amassed a clan of 17 cats. My extended family now have most of the offspring but we kept two, Terry and Hartley (he's the one in my pic).

No no they're not "incest kitties" afaik. The two mothers (Guin and Marge) were sisters, but whoever the father/s was/were is unknown but can't be a relative cause we got the two girls about 20 miles away. That said Guin is pretty fucked up, she's missing a couple tail vertebrae so has a weird twisty tail, she's also just an all round runty being. Also in regards to the cat cafe idea, I did scam some on my friends by charging them to visit and see the newborns. "Refreshment costs" y'know but that's just cause I'm a bad friend.

I'll do my best! Here's the pre-mentioned Marjorie pictured here plotting to kill me. She's a very pretty cat but not the most friendly. She's a bit shy really, and spends most of her time lazing around. She's the only one of my cats not to like cat nip because she's a good Christian girl that doesn't do drugs. That said she still managed to get pregnant three times so a bit of a slag. Here's her sister Guinevere, she's a fucking headcase. Likes running around in the early morning and beating up her son. She's the one with the weird tail but couldn't find a good photo. Her initial owners called her Splitface but I decided it wasn't a very dignified name for her. She can be very friendly but she's an absolute runt so is usually sitting in the corner looking at a wall or catching the shittest tiny shrews ever, she blinded one of my chickens too when the chicken tried to get a bit of shrew. Deffo my favourite cat. My boy Hartley here, he's Guinevere's son and inherited her insanity. You can have conversations with him because he always meows back if you meow at him. He's a greedy bastard and a catnip addict. He's definitely the cuddliest one though and never stops purring; took him to the vet and they couldn't hear his heart cause the purring was too loud. This is Terry. We call him the Antichrist because he's an absolute psycho. He's the great great grandson of Guinevere and my mum's convinced he's the loveliest cat but he's mad. He brings in everything from pigeons to live toads. He can sometimes be nice but is usually just out for blood. He's also got really weird cross eyes for some reason but that's just kinda adorable! This is bonus cat Pumpkin, he's my nanna's, but he's a son of Marjorie. Just putting him in cause he's so pretty but he's absolutely stupid as all hell. Can't figure out how to use a cat flap.
