Good news is twitter, and Facebook are crushing free speech. Soon we will get an influx of pissed off people coming to Nexopia.

What is Nexopia undertaking for its marketing campaign?

Twitter and Facebook are mostly targeting Republican/conservative alt-right individuals (with a high following).
Fueled by smear campaigns of leftist propagators .

Most forums are enjoying a decline in activity relative to years ago with social media competing successfully for user activity.

Nexopia has no marketing campaign which is its problem imo. It used to have the anti Facebook campaign “you’re moms on Facebook” etc but it’s not in use atm

Not only the right but some of the left are being subjugated as well. If you even post something controversial you get banned.

There’s no way nexopia could afford signs lol. Word of mouth is our best bet atm, but no one wants to do that.

Its a ridiculously thin line. Very biased, almost unethical and unfair.

At MHB, we once offered gift cards to students who would simply post flyers in their respective student centers...no one wanted to do it. :(

4chan is completely free and has no revenue and it has tens of thousands of active users and millions of page views.

4chan also runs things really differently to a forum like nexopia. For example, threads aren’t kept forever and people don’t have personal profiles, blogs, or galleries. Running a forum like nexopia costs a bit of money, unless we start deleting things.

True but have you ever seen a forum community like this one that has a healthy base?

Yes lol. The problem is also google. When you google something, forums are usually the last thing to show up. And most new traffic to sites should be through google. So duck google.

Yes, the best option for a real community is forum software. It is a great deal more difficult making a forum successful now than it used to be. Many users online now are too lazy to be a part of a community. It is ultimately up to everyone here to make the site active and thereby draw more to be active.

Idk why google hates forums so much. One thing I hate is when people make a thread or a post and someone gives them a link to google search or tells them to google it. If they provide an answer instead of telling someone to gtfo, maybe that thread will pop up for someone else who googled that same question and we’ll get a new member. That’s one thing that I think really killed off topic forums.

YES. But can you guys explain to me why the site crashed so hard that it lost virtually every member? Was it the murder or the privacy lawsuit? Was the site down for over a year or what? I can't see facebook cleaning out nexopia 100% people still value forum based social media
