I don't watch. Find it annoying hearing all the politics and I find it a corrupt process. I just look at results. Moonlight winning doesn't anger me but I don't think it's as good as everyone says. The Third act just was not good.

Viola Davis winning upset Me. Great performance. But it was a lead. Not a support. Third year in a row that supporting actress goes to a lead role. And I think it's just because Viola wouldn't have beaten Emma. They wanted to give her an Oscar. Reactionary to the previous"Oscars so white" issues.

I just look at the results too. I am glad Emma Stone took best actress. I haven't see moonlight, but seeing the synopsis I don't think I'd have enjoyed it.

@FlamesFanatic agreed about Viola Davis. Although I believe it's her or the producers that chose which category to submit the performance for. It should be regulated though.

@Chivalry see Moonlight. It's a great film. Synopsis doesn't do it justice.

@Cib3rNaut the camera and tech people have their own Oscar ceremony in January so they're covered. It's just not televised because it's for nerds.
