Olovie, kashkebademjan, parvarde, mast-o-moosir served with sangak breadv For an appetizer

It’s an olive dish, an eggplant dish, a yogurt dish, and a potato salad,

Then a combo plate with a chicken kebab, a beef kebab, and a pile of basmati rice with saffron

Never tried Persian food, but I’d give it a shot if I was ever presented the opportunity.

    Persian or Iranian?

Iran has god a pretty negative overall reputation, that could effect the number of restaurants - I know there are only 2-3 of them here, despite it being a city of almost 1 1/2 million

There’s similarities, although Greeks aren’t big on Saffron - which is an Iranian thing apparently

I’ve been to that Greek place before (thanks to Groupon). The food was alright but the dining room was dirty and all the decorations were covered in thick layers of dust.

Boo. Good Greek is brilliant, but a dirty restaurant usually means they’ve given up, and the food isn’t going to be up to a higher standard

Yeah and restaurants who offer Groupons are usually desperate for customers, which was obvious when I went there.

Groupon deals can be pretty good, but yeah, established places don’t usually go there unless they’re in trouble
