What are your pet names, who gave them to you, and why. One of my pet names is "hotwheels", given to me by my best friend, shortly after I ended up in a wheelchair. My sister called me "Lijn" when I was a baby, apparently because she couldn't pronounce my full name, or she was just lazy. I have an uncle in the UK who calls me Karl. I think just because he can't pronounce Karlijn and doesn't want to call me Caroline for whatever reason.
My dad calls me Deedee. My older sister calls me Bug My boyfriend calls me Poopiebum Ironically I have an ex who called me poopie or poopiebum. Some people call me KPY. My initials. Some people call me Kitty. For whatever reason I remind people of a Cat.

I use to hangout with a whole bunch of different groups of friends and they all had a nickname for me: Rub, Ruby, Robby, Rubin, bin, binder, Rhonda and Bonnie. Most people that have just met me call me Rocking Robyn
I don’t really consider actual name derivatives nicknames - so Pat and Paddy are just my name I guess “trick” could be too, since it’s just skipping the first 2 letters My ex’s name was Rhonda haha - not sure how you get that from Robyn, so I’d definitely call that a nickname

Okay, it can be hard for you I have a dog called Browar - in my language this word means "beer" or "brewery". Don't ask me why this name, it was my dad's idea. My cat's name is a little bit more complicated. He is my little evil so I call him Zeł - in my language "zło" is "evil" but it's neuter, so I changed it to masculine.
