By my house I also have an abundance of Zubat, Pidgey, Drowsee and Weedles. Like waaaay too many of them. How many Pokemon are you guys at?
Jealous of the Caterpie, I would love to make more Butterfree! I didn't even know there was a "total captured" badge, just had to scope it out to see haha. 129 in Pokemon storage 98 caught in Pokedex 1,527 captured & I hear ya, there's so many out there! It needs to be running on a computer, but you can open a server for your phone by hitting the mobile button.
I just caught my fourth PokéMon! It kept effing up with the GPS, so I would never move or find anything... I can start playing now though.
Why don't you just flip on developer mode and assign your GPS location? It seems way easier... Load it up in BlueStacks... should be able to write a script to modify location / catch / repeat... as long as you can find a list of GPS locations...
If you go into your Pokémon and swipe to the right into eggs and back out GPS usually catches up. Mine lags all the time so it's a habit for me now, especially in vehicles.
I've walked only 300m on a 5km egg, even though I finally caught another 6 PokèMon, "walking" 6 km. Just seems buggy right now on my phone. @djfly I had to turn off the Developer Options->Allow Mock Locations in order to play the game at all!
I know absolutely nothing about this game other than it involves finding stuff at GPS locations. I figure I can fake the entirety from an armchair, which makes me smarter than the game and as such the game is pointless. INTP. My bad. lol. =P (I'll unwatch this thread, I probably shouldn't be such a buzzkill towards something that is obviously getting people out of their armchairs and socializing, I just find the basis of the whole thing ridiculous)
I wonder if in like 25 years they will have Pokemon Go Emulators and Roms, that run on some cray cray electronics system and the entire game will look like it was made in the Iron Age
Somehow I feel as though Pokemon Go is a giant prank being played on myself and everyone else, by some pervy japanese billionaire to mine North America of it's reflex based data. So they could selectively recruit love slaves to our countries and take over everything without the use of force.
