I remember when I was down in Stanley Park at HMCS Discovery (where there's a Poke Stop at the gate, but no PokèMon on the base) that there were two lighthouses that were gyms with very strong Dragonites. And after I came home to PG, and now that I've chosen a team... I've only seen two gyms that are yellow :-/
You seem to be missing out on a lot of the action! I am too right now, I drove to Hope today and the whole way was like "there's a pokestop, there's a pokestop.. gah all the shit I'm missing!"
Wait, you don't PokèMon and Drive? What are you, an adult or something? When I went last time, we were on a school bus. The bus driver and his girlfriend who came with him were playing it... Well, she was playing it for both of them... But they got lots of PokéMon and items. Especially driving through Vancouver itself. I'll be down there again in my own car, but on a different base... Doubt there will be PokèMon there either But it's right next to a business, so it might be a good stop...
Only gyms right now. I think in an update coming soon you will have the ability to battle friends and trade pokemon with them.
qft! I'm also hoping Niantic will start adding all the rest of the pokemon for an extra challenge. I don't even know how many there are supposed to be, but t's a crap ton.
I think there's supposed to be over 750 now from all the regions I love that it's just the first 151, makes me feel more at home
Yeah I only know the first 151 so I'm super glad that's all it is. I'll probably stop playing if they start adding the new ones. They have everyone hooked for nostalgia (seem familiar?! haha) so if they start putting out the new ones I think they'd lose a large base of players.

I don't know the other pokes either but I think it would be way more fun to catch something random and stupid on my front deck than a Zubat every fucking night lol. More options, more variations, bigger challenge, more pokemon to evolve. I think it would just open the game up more
Yeah I can see the appeal of the variety. However, if there's 750 different Pokemon spawning, the chances of catching enough of one of them to evolve lowers significantly.
Also very true, Niantic would have to also increase the overall amount of pokemon in every area so that you couldn't walk down the street without stepping on 20 lol
Hahaha well I'm interested to see where it goes either way. I'm sure they're losing players because of people being sick of Zubats as well. They gotta do something to spice it up. I'm hoping for a release of a legendary!
@-Toxxic;;* If our team mascots had been available only to those on the team, I probably would have gone Instinct to get me a Zapdos! Moltres is great and all, but electric pokemon on a little more rare
Yeah! There's like no electric Pokemon. They announced the team leaders and I had assumed they would do a release team mascot related soon/just release them all to everyone cause I want them all haha.
