Moron's don't get 99 in Math 116
Not always true
I have no doubt you’re intelligent, reasoning and well intentioned even
But facts and patterns also so that brilliant minds can believe incorrect things - we’re all blessed with that same flaw.
People fall for things they want to hear. Kenney says that he wants to bring back something that never left, makes people think that greener pastures abound, feeds the part of your brain that expects certain results from certain actions
Problem is, when he gets power, none of what he promises will happen - and 4 years down the road he’ll just lie and say it did, and that part of your brain will probably believe him, no matter how false it is.
Conservative Government is the reason we have all the problems we do, because they’re not conservative, they’re short sighted, heartless and dangerous, and really bad with money.
That’s not exclusive to PC, or CPC or UCP, Ralph Klein was a Liberal - but he was a drunken asshole too, and he got lucky with timing. He crushed our provinces infrastructure to cut costs, but then oil boomed and covered his ass. It didn’t stop people from dying unnecessarily, but it slowed it down.
Klein gave me $400 I bought an ipod with it I remember that
Klein was a card carrying liberal
Timing is everything though - if oil hadn’t exploded when it did we would have been left with a fiscally sound health care system incapable of meeting the needs of the public
As it was, we were left with a crippled mess that could almost manage, so the damage was less than it could have been
If Kenney gets in - he probably will, we’ll be left with much worse. Average person won’t even notice changes, until they go to the ER and candy stripers are giving IVs
Does that mean “cum laude”?
You've been listening to too much Juicy J haha are you 19 yet er wha
When I was 17-18 I read what Preston Manning had to say, and I liked it. At that’s point I would have voted Reform.
I’m not sure at what point I came to the realization that he was an idiot, but I like that I like in a democratic socialist society.
I think they could do a lot of things better and more efficiently, but it’s pretty clear that the far right has this mystical bent - they believe a lot of fallacious bullshit, and promise a lot of things that make no sense at all... and assuming those things are true puts a lot of people at risk.
