Bedlam is a short series about a psychiatric hospital in England. It's pretty interesting if you like psychology and mental illness type stuff. Just look up 'Bedlam Documentary' on youtube. There are 4 episodes.

Gonna watch it now, need a fucked up documentary after watching Up for like the 4th time yesterday.

Have you seen the 7up series? That's probably my favourite, interesting as shit.

 

That doesn’t ring a bell, what’s it about?

 

First documentary was like 50 years ago, they interview a bunch of 7 year olds from different social backgrounds. Then in 7 years time, they interview them again at 14 and then 21 etc. I think in the last one they were 56 years old, it basically shows their whole lives. 1 of them died recently.

Oooh, there's a martial arts documentary you would really like. Can't remember the name of it, but I'll explain it.

When this girl was little, her father was famous. He was the greatest samurai in the empire and the Shogun's decapitator. He cut off the heads of a hundred and thirty-one lords.

It was a bad time for the empire, the Shogun just stayed inside his castle and he never came out. People said his brain was infected by devils. Her father would come home, he would forget about the killings. He wasn't scared of the Shogun, but the Shogun was scared of him. Maybe that was the problem.

Then, one, night, the Shogun sent his ninja spies to her house. They were supposed to kill her father but they didn't. That was the night everything changed.

When the MCs caaame to live out the naaame and to perform. Some had to snort cocaaaine to act insaaane before he rocked it on. Now on with the mental plaaane to spark the braaain with the building to be born. Yo, RZA, flip the track with the what to cut.

This is an amazing film. A family just happened to film their lives a lot. Then the father was caught up in an alleged child sex abuse scandal. It shows their family fights, interviews with everyone involved, and on and on.

 

The Jinx is the best crime documentary I’ve ever seen in my life. The ending is amaaaazing too. Don’t look up spoilers and watch asap
