Looking for a new phone very soon as I’m using a cracked up iphone 6 and It’s looking worse and worse every day. I’m probably looking to move away from apple completely tbh. Post your phones and tell me why you like them so I have a better idea of what to look into and also just to praise your phone that could be fun right?

I’ve been using an iPhone X since December, easily the fastest, most reliable smartphone I’ve ever used.

Boss has an S9+, my work phone is a Blackberry PRIV - both Android and both crap, they’re buggy and slower than the iPhone, which is funny because they have much better specifications. My old iPhone 7 was faster and more reliable than both too.

Without trying to over justify my phone by writing a paragraph about why everything else sucks

I have the pixel 2 xl.

    I love everything about it.

Why don't you just keep using your old phone? And no, saying that it is on crack doesn't explain why you need a new one brah, lol.

I’ve heard the best things out of Pixel I might do that one. If not @Squire72 has me a little interested in the X. So is it not having issues anymore? I heard it was recalled for issues awhile ago. I was probably going to get an 8 in red if it came down to it.

The x takes getting used to, the whole interface is different since they removed the home button - same boring icons and shit, but a lot more flexibility once you get the hang of it. The facial recognition is brilliant, and the only version that won’t work with a picture of you - we tried the S9+ camera and it unlocked with a photograph, so my boss disabled it on his phone lol

You can do anything you can with regular android, you just have more security options than with any other android vendor. Unfortunately they’re just as bad as the rest for updates, the only way to get a phone you can keep up to date for longer than a year with android is to buy the latest pixel.

All the other android vendors abandon their phones shortly after release

I like the car analogy, an iPhone is a new Tesla, small and light with more power than it needs to excel

Android is like a homemade dump truck with a civic engine, barely enough power to handle basic tasks because the operating system is curmudgeonly, and it’s always starved for power - and the guy who built it for you is an asshole who sees you as a liability, and has no interest in helping keep it running smoothly
