    Right now, down the right, we have "recent shouts", "recent images"...
    why not "new users" as well? show the latest 10 accounts to have been created.

    Also, with latest images, it shows the filename... which is mostly useless.
    Perhaps show the image itself and the poster's name instead...

    also, showing your own recent messages would be nice too.
    and maybe the option to hide sections we dont want to see
    and maybe the ability to re-order the sections ...

    just a few ideas for improvements/features :)
