Can we have a riddles thread please?
Here's a classic riddle:
@.:Batman:. was killed on Sunday afternoon. Her wife said she was reading a book. The butler said he was taking a shower. The chef said he was making breakfast. The maid said she was folding clothes, and the gardener said he was planting tomatoes. Who did it?
Btw, I have many issues with the answer to this riddle.
He killed himself in the shower with the tomato plant
Oh, you were so close
The butler took a shower to clean off all the blood after killing @.:Batman:.
Why else would someone take a shower while working??
No wait, why was the chef making breakfast in the afternoon?
It was either the chef or the butler, or both.
You got it, the chef was making breakfast in the afternoon. Which I'm pretty sure everyone does! Shit, I had a full English breakfast at 11pm yesterday
Great riddles are in Batman Arkham Knight.
A crocodile living in the Nile took a child. The mother begged to give him back. The crocodile stated: "If you guess what I will do to him, I will return him. However, if you don't guess his fate I'll eat him." What statement should the mother make to save her child?
He was a little shit anyways enjoy your lunch
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Correct! If the crocodile eats the child, then he has to return him because she guessed right. I mean, the crocodile would have to shit the kid out first but she'll get him back at least
This one is as old as the hills, but my dad posed it to me as a child, and I enjoyed figuring it out...
A farmer is traveling with a fox, a chicken and a sack of corn. He comes to a river where there is a boat for crossing, but he can only carry one of the three items in the boat with him at a time. He cannot leave the fox alone with the chicken because the fox will eat the chicken, and he cannot leave the chicken alone with the corn, because the chicken will eat the corn. How does the farmer cross the river?
Chicken first? I’m confused, what’s the question?
Separate names with a comma.
