Since the leader of the party with the most seats gets to be premier probably not likely. Do independents even count as a collective? Maybe if you could convince all the independents to form a party and got a lot of great candidates
I'm trying to read up on the process for independents cause, what's the point, you can't be a collective and an independent LOL
Yeah, you’d definitely have to form a party to get to be premier. Not sure how I feel about not getting to legitimately vote for the actual leader.
Exactly why I want to run as an independent. It's a load of BS that as a "democracy" We don't actually get whom we want. Mind you the options would be huge at the polling station lol.
True. And there are advantages to party rule - if someone screws up they don’t have to lose an election to lose their jobs. When you vote for the leader, they’re not responsible to the party anymore, which gives them a lot more power
One of the candidates running for city council of a town near here is only doing it because he needs a job.
I'll expose you for your racist comments on Nexopia, but considering you live in Alberta, that will probably help you win.
Alberta loves a good lying politician, I’m still shocked we have someone decent right now, even if she bends a little further right than the party name suggests
