Anyone been following the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces? looks like it might go very badly - not just for Ukraine, but for Russia, and the rest of the world as well, they're not getting the decisive victory they were looking for, and Putin is saying he's considering nukes if any western countries engage in the situation. are we looking at WWIII coming up?
Ukraine shelling its own citizens.. this secret war has been happening since Obama installed a Pro-USA dictator in 2014. They've been trying to ethnically cleanse Russian speaking Ukrainians for about as long. Putin is only now stepping in to try and help the Ukrainians with Russian ancestry in West Ukraine from being genocided. Watch some city live streams.. its crazy how the MSM is showing 4 year old footage from Palestine and Israel and saying "Russians are bombing apartment blocks" to watch the actual CCTV Live Streams and see people walking around smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee like nothing is happening. If WW3 is coming.. Unfortunately for Libtarded Warhawks.. looks like Russia is the good guy this time >.>
I don't think there is a good guy in all of this. just a bunch of innocent people and some power hungry fuckheads making a mess.
There may not be a good guy in a lot of situations but there are certainly less "morally grey" decisions. If anything I think we should stay out of it. I don't understand why every situation apparently requires US/Canadian/UK intervention. We need more human trafficking and child sex workers? just send in the UN ..they're great at that >.>
Putin is hellbent on restoring the USSR to its former "glory", and bringing Ukraine back into the fold is a big part of that. Why he'd drop a bomb on a maternity hospital is beyond reason though. He thought this would all be over in 2 days, 2 weeks later, people in Kyiv are still mostly going about life as usual, stores are open, transit is running, people are going to work... other parts of the country aren't so lucky. Got a laugh out of Ukraine calling captured soldiers mothers and telling them they can come to Kyiv and get their kids to take home.
Political Science is fascinating. I'm not a fan of the liberals, they're not progressive - they're not regressive either, but they lack progressive plans and ideals. Not a fan of the CPC, they're borderline fascist assholes. I didn't hate the PCs, they at least supported personal autonomy and basic public services, but they died after Mulroney fucked up the economy so badly... I don't know if you're old enough to remember his mess, but a 50 cent Canadian dollar was one of his crowning achievements as PM, actually managed to lose official party status. He did take on environmental issues though, instead of denying they exist (Acid Rain, not Climate Change - Reagan was in office then, and he did as well) Not a fan of Singh - he's a two faced idiot who grasps and signal boosts conspiracy theories spread by the CPC - he's more interested in power than he is in ideology. Doesn't matter, the NDP would need a miracle to get elected, best they can hope for is official opposition.
they gone only from one area. how can we war with serious face if don't have nuclear weapon? maybe i misunderstood something, but Russia own military-potential biggest than all Europe.
They've managed to liberate some areas that Russia has been in control of for years What I'm hearing is the reason they're running the fake referendums for "joining" Russia is that they've committed to not use nukes unless someone attacks Russian territory - but they're going door to door, handing people ballots, and watching what they choose while holding guns to their heads once they've got the votes, they declare that a part of Russia, and if Ukraine tries to get that territory back, they'll take it as an attack on Russia
