Pass. I had it this year and I got nothing out of it except $25 off a $50 purchase at Christmas time

I went to get a free makeup look because I was rouge, and the girl seemed pissed that I wasn’t buying anything afterwards :err:

Do they make commission? I feel like no one ever helps me, but I also dress kinda like a poor teenager

I don't think they get commission, and they don't make very much. I would never work at Sephora

I don’t understand how sephora staff can be as bad as they are, I’ve heard they get hardcore training

Yeah but most of them aren't certified MUA's, yet they're expected to perform like they are.
I feel bad for them and understand why they're shit.. all I really expect from them is to give good customers service and most can't even do that.

Yeah, idc if you know everything about the makeup but PLS if I’m standing infront of something and making eye contact with you, don’t walk away or go chat with your friends. Last time I was in sephora I was trying to get a sample of 3 different foundations and I had to go all the way to the perfume section to find help. And then she wasn’t allowed to leave her section so I had to bring all the foundations over to her so she could make the samples. When there were 100 other girls just hanging out in the makeup section not making eye contact with me.

Seems like the best way of getting attention at Sephora is to pick up a basket and act like you don't want their help. :imslow:

This. 100%. I always try to avoid talking to them and I'll get several different employees asking if I need help. Doesn't seem to matter which location I go to.

Tbh I usually order online because you get to pick 3 free samples and 1 deluxe sample if you spend over $25 which is almost every time
