It came out in 2017. I don't like it as much as her old music but it's probably just the nostalgia behind the older music. (And many, many drunk karaoke nights, hahah)
Stephen Harper. Guy didn’t do shit except spend ridiculous amounts of money on nothing and claimed he was a hero. Such a worthless twatwaffle
I see posts on Facebook all the time like he was the best PM ever, I’m like... we’re you even on this planet when we had a recession during a global boom??
Well, Harper wanted to build new prisons and lock up marijuana smokers, tried to remove the constitutional requirements for universal health care and passed laws that violated the constitution... and was a generally shady lying ****, but other than that I guess he was okay
If Harper had kept going Kahdr would have cost us an extra 100 million in court fees and a higher settlement. His approach was **** the constitution, which never plays well with the actual courts - which is why he spent like $150 mil losing in the Supreme Court over and over. Even the prime minister has to follow the law, he didn’t believe he had to.
I wish our judges were elected like they are in the states. I'm tired of these soft judges handing out light sentences for serious crimes such as sexual assault, and manslaughter.
Agreed. We need to be more serious about serious crimes. When someone murders and is on the street in 10 years that’s a huge problem. Some laws are bullshit, but there’s no excuse for minimal rape, murder, assault and such sentences. If you can successfully rehabilitate someone awesome, but they need to serve an sentence that meets the impact they had on their victims. Victimless crimes should never be a long sentence though - oh, you did drugs? Who the **** cares - a sentence of getting committed to a hospital for treatment would be perfect if it’s something dangerous or life threatening. The guy who sells things that are dangerous or life threatening is a criminal, the user is probably not, at least not for using
