Just to clarify, I don't think all psychics should be. Just the ones where it's proven that the psychic is consciously tricking others like in cold readings for their money. It's disgusting how they exploit vulnerable people for money. Any other opinions?

Tough one. I think that people should have the right to spend money how they want to, even if that means spending it on psychics and magic healing potions, as long as they are an adult and mentally able to make informed decisions. I do not think children or mentally ill/disabled people should be subjected to things like that. A psychic reading for someone with a mental illness can cause or worsen delusions or hallucinations.

Maybe I should change psychics to cold readers, I don't have a problem with tarrot cards and all that stuff. I never thought about that with psychic readings, that's a good point.

Ooh, you know who I just thought of instead of psychics? Preachers who claim they can heal any disability like Benny Hinn. These for sure should be arrested.

I actually had this done on me a lot for "deliverance for being disobedient", never once felt the need to fall over. The pastor genuinely tries to push you over when he does it too, what assholes.

Gross. When I was 13 I got really sick and I was given ~*~natural holistic~*~ “medicines” for 2.5 years before a social worker got involved and I was given real medicine. I have strong feelings about these sorts of healings.

I think if people want to go to these types of people and have their money taken... that’s their issue

Ugh, natural holistic medicines are the worst. You've got to be seriously arrogant if you're so confident that you know better than a group of specialist doctors that you would put your child at risk. How did it take 2.5 years for them to realise they were wrong? Moronic

I don't know, usually they're pretty vulnerable people spending all their money.

So true. I have a cousin who was subjected to home fooling, she's 26 years old and can't function in society without her mommy

So far we have talked about fake psychics, natural holistic medicines being dangerous and home schooling being harmful. All of which were topics of South Park episodes at some point. Strange, huh?

If you are going to arrest psychics for false advertising then you have to arrest everybody who has ever profited from false advertisement, lol. :) That would round up many of the corporations out there, many politicians (promise big, deliver little), etc. :)
