Spelling/grammar mistakes that irk you

    I know someone who always writes “deft” when she means “defs” as in “definitely”.
    She’s not very bright, I figure she thinks since defs gets auto corrected to deft that it’s the right word.

    My old roomies gf spells things like: defenitely, ganna, caz, lingweenie.. she's not very bright.

    I hate to admit it, but lately I’ve been catching myself making a lot of mistakes that would usually annoy me if someone else did it :cry:

    I proof-read my posts because a lot of time, there would be a lot of missing words. :confused:

    their and there and theyre always make me laff and yeah people make the most random spelling mistakes sometimes but I dont really care

    My autocorrect also tends to change things on me, or add things I didn’t mean to write and I end up looking like I don’t know English.

    Is bright synonymous with intelligent or educated? It doesn’t really specify , does it. Also I’m not skrinkle but you can call me Feisty-Skrinkle from now on.

    I think most of the time an autocorrect is obviously just a typo. My example only bothers me because of the frequency and consistency of the mistake.
