Firstly, I'm not having one!!! But I do always wonder about how I would tell my parents if I were to have one. I don't know why, but the idea of telling them now at a reasonable age is still just as scary as if I was 16. Do you feel comfortable telling your parents things like that?
I honestly wouldn’t want to say anything until it was obvious. My mom would lose her mind from excitement. Pops is very nonchalant about pretty much everything. So I’d be ok with it
Just let them know because they'll see it when you bring the baby over during a family Thanksgiving dinner.
I think if you or I had a child in our current circumstances we would just be a burden on our parents lol that’s why I would feel ashamed to tell. Nothing to do with age.
Grandparents need to know mcpon, they like to help and have a hand in the raising of the baby in a normative family unit. At least my mom feels that way when it comes to her daughter/my sister and her new baby.
If you had one out of wedlock and your parents are fundamental Christians who believe that that is a grave sin.
It was my dads birthday so we gave him a Happy Birthday Grandpa card. It took him a moment to figure it out.
I told my mom that I booked a vasectomy. She was not too happy. Also because my older brother doesn't plan on having kids either. #sorrynotsorry
It's coming! But I want a more permanent solution. And after a certain age birth control pills, injections, etc become more of a risk for women.
