I think that's the opposite of how I'm going to feel about the remake when part 2 comes out. At least I hope so
I though it was awesome. Focusing on them as kids getting to know them, and then the sequels going to be them coming back as adults to finish It off. I think that's really cool. The flashing back and forth wouldn't work well in a film time
After finally getting around to watching the remake a second time, I've concluded that my problem wasn't actually the kids. It was the lack of darkness that I expected to be at an all time high in 2017. The more I read about it the more disappointed I am that certain dark scenes like Pennywise eating a baby and the pre teen sewer gang bang were not included. I'm now pinning all my hopes on part 2, with my fingers crossed that Emily Perkins gets cast as grown up Beverly
I currently finished the book I wanted to read it before I seen the remake but under up going to the movie before I finished. Absolutely loved the book. The remake was ok I didn’t care for the voice of IT other then that can’t wait for pt 2
