They changed the Canadian National Anthem to appease the angry feminists....

    “Weir's original lyrics from 1908 contained no religious references and used the phrase "thou dost in us command" before they were changed by Weir in 1914 to read "in all thy sons command".[1][10][11][12] In 1926, a fourth verse of a religious nature was added.[13]
    Take religion and gender out of the anthem

    I remember my mom being really mad when they added that, it’s pretty cool having a part about Lenny Kilmeister in our anthem I think, I mean, he’s not Canadian, but that’s not a prerequisite for being god

    There's been a lot of backlash against this. I know when I go to Canucks games. I will sing it as "in all thy sons command" as the majority of people will if reading reactions on Facebook and Twitter is accurate!
