So it's Day 1 of Week 2. What does everybody think about what's going on?

You can't knock him. He's doing what he said he'd do. That's more than most politicians

 

I think more or less. I'm just glad I'm not American and didn't have to choose between the giant douche or turd sandwich.

I think not being nuked into the ground is a pretty great thing. All this womens march and protesting bullshit though is kinda stupid.

Pulling out of the TPP ..pretty great.. the deal is cancer. Although trying to re-greenlight the keystone and such.. I'm not down with never was.. but that doesn't stop Ontario from selling out other provinces for their gain.

Any vote I'd seen communities here and such have been like NO THNX.. but its Parliament over there thats like **** IT! we don't gotta deal with poisoned water supply.. where do I sign to get my cheque?

 

I find it interesting that Trump's adversaries are people I usually equate with a low level of cognition, and a high degree of being idea gardens. The unfortunate part of the latter, is that although they are indeed idea gardens, the garden is not the gardener. Gardens don't tend themselves.

Trump's rhetoric was what got him elected. Like all other politicians/wallstreet advocates/business tycoons, I know he is a liar, I know not to believe him, and I know his supporters are just as likely to be idea gardens as his adversaries, but their cognitions are higher on average, than those who oppose trump.

If you need evidence of that last claim, you need look no further than what trump is advocating, vs the advocates of the groups who oppose him....and that stands for every main issue raised, from race, to gender identity, to this mythical economy I hear so much about.

 

Trump is a narcissistic individual who only cares about himself and his image. The Republican party is a party of greed and hate run by those that are greedy and hateful. I am not saying the democrats are angels but they are not as fucking bad as Agent Orange.

I know someone who voted for that **** face and all he spews is bullshit about illegals and Clinton's emails but as the days go on and on he looks more and more like Nixon on steroids.

 

Funny how you say they're all greed and hate. They've come a ways from what they used to be. Democrats used to use science and logic to argue their points. Now they just spout skewed statistics and garbage. Neither party is any good and the US is going downhill fast. I still believe Trump was the better choice, though I'd rather have seen Bernie Sanders as PotUS
