If you value freedom, do not visit Pakistan.
It's a country where people are jailed and killed for converting to other religion.
Asia Bibi was jailed and almost hanged to death because she converted to Christianity. Even now, after foreign powers interference she is still unable to leave Pakistan.
In fact, I think the civilize world should boycott Pakistan until it provides freedom of speech to all its citizens.
Salute to all the freedom fighters inside Pakistan risking their lives against the fundamentalist scourge.
Thousands of people around the world visit Pakistan. They encourage its beauty.
and your sister Asia Bibi is christian born women, she did some blasphemy, she sent to the court but there was no prof so supreme court of Pakistan release her. now she is out of the Pakistan i think.
Why would you go to jail or be killed for blasphemy?
It's not even a crime.
It shouldn’t be, some places it still is
It’s a terrible thing that happens when religion and government mixes
I think what Naveed means is natural beauty, not the state of affairs in Pakistan itself.
I have a friend in Lahore, would definitely like to visit one day. Looks like a beautiful place
Watching this three minutes clip, any astute observer will immediately realize the disturbing reality hidden on plain sight.
Behind the joyous music, you can immediately notice that something is off about this video - no, something is completely missing.
There were men, children, horses, cats and even dogs in the video. And yet, you can't find even a single woman in the clip. Women are invisible in any sharia law based country. This is true for Pakistan but even more so in the neighboring Afghanistan where women have absolutely no right.
That's weird, cause my friend posts countless selfies in public settings, in the mall, at work, in restaurants, driving, etc. Oh yeah, she's female, and unescorted by males.
I bet Malala Yousafzai feels the same way too.
if you live in US or any country you have to follow the rules of that country. Pakistan is a Muslim country and if someone do disrespect our prophet , it will not be tolerated.
Naraan kaghaan, Gilgit are most beautiful places to visit specially "Hunza".
Seems to me that’s pretty disrespectful to people who aren’t Muslim. Yes, the majority of citizens in Pakistan are Muslim, but not everyone is - and the government should represent every citizen equally, regardless of faith.
Not like when you draw an imaginary line through someone’s country all the people of a certain faith will automatically move to the side of the line designated for them - that’s asking too much unless you’re buying them a house and getting them a job on the other side of the line.
Doesn’t help that different people interpret scripture differently. Lots of Muslims and Christians alike base much of their faith on the Old Testament rules that were replaced with New Testament rules.
So now you have Old Testament pushing people punishing people who are following the “accepted” new rules perfectly but breaking rules that shouldn’t be enforced, because they’ve been replaced with new rules that contradict the originals. It’s like you’re going to a school and you got a new principal who no longer believes in corporal punishment, and decided that one of the rules that required a strapping was wrong, and a teacher who liked the old ways keeps strapping kids who do the thing that used to be against the rules.
Touched on this with @tool
The old rules are to be ignored, but they’re not
I can't wait for the day America has an atheist president
Would love to see that. Doubt I ever will, but seeing the freak out all the religious leaders would have expecting the apocalypse would be amazing
I guarantee that trump does not hold religious views, but his base sure does.
There’s a difference between atheist and greedy brain dead demagogue
My point exactly!
That's why I said;
It's the same as boycotting Israel for the occupation of Palestinian land, we should also boycott Pakistan for killing and jailing its citizens that does not believe in the sharia law.
Thousands of Non Muslims communities are living happily is Pakistan. People like you just believe on Media, and decide according to them.. I live here i better know the position of Pakistan.
