Walking Alone at Night

Do any guys here get super self conscious when walking down a road at night when there's a lone girl in front of you? It feels like I'm following her and it's really awkward.

It doesn't help that when she turns around, she sees this lol

 

It's even weirder if it is a girl walking behind another girl.

 

I've been in that situation before, and when she looks back, I smile to put her at ease...

 

And then you pounce, lol. You slick devil.

 

I'll usually slow down and let him pass, if he doesn't pass I immediately walk in another direction

 

I think I usually cross the street if I can

It's awkward lol. I'm also a slow walker because of my back and knees. I'll cross the street if I can. But if the scenario happens it happens
