    Like in Sparta with infants, if they aren't worthy to be messenger owls, they get left to die. :nuts:

    It is because when they hear the first sign of danger, they fly off. Other animals just stand or sit there preening themselves or continuing to graze while you are standing not more than 20 feet away reloading. :nuts:

    In The Netherlands an owl is also seen as a symbol of wisdom, but an uilskuiken (owl chick) is someone who is very stupid and clumsy. :imslow:
