I've been using apple cider vinegar on my face and I really do think it makes a difference. I first discovered aztec indian healing clay on youtube/blogs and decided to get some because literally no one says anything bad about it, but it was super hard to mix properly with just water so I decided to splurge on some fancy organic apple cider vinegar with the mother (bacteria) still in it. The vinegar makes the clay a really soft smooth texture where as the water made it lumpy. As soon as I tried the mask with the apple cider vinegar it instantly worked so differently. My face was literally throbbing and I could feel the blood flow through the skin, and when I took the mask off my entire face was BEET red. The redness went away after a few minutes and all my acne bumps were instantly less pronounce. Been using it now every day and I never get cystic acne anymore, even on my period!!! The only shitty thing is that the mask is soooo messy and when it dries it's so hard to get off because it doesn't mix with water very well. It's best to just do the mask before you shower so you can really soak and scrub it off, or if I'm lazy I will wipe more apple cider vinegar across it to loosen it up before wiping it off with water. I also started using the apple cider vinegar straight on my skin instead of toner or a lotion. I've seen a lot of warning about using straight apple cider vinegar on your face because it can cause burns but I've been using it without diluting it as a toner/lotion instead of any beauty products and I haven't felt any discomfort or noticed any chemical burns. My skin might have already been strong though because I've had really bad acne for 15+ years and have been using all kinds of strong products on it. My skin still isn't perfectly clear though and I want to try some other things as well. Especially a prescription of retinol. Has anyone tried that?
