The dude who moved and then came back. He’s the one who owned the house to begin with, him not being there for a while should have nothing to do with anything.

Watch this video on it, it's really not as bad as it seems. I think I'm for it now.

If you leave a milkshake on the counter at McDonald’s and come back a year later, you’re out a milkshake. If you leave a house empty and intended to for 12 years, you don’t get to just come back and know it’s still yours, you can hope, but that’s definitely abandonment, and whoever had the nerve to move in and stay there long enough deserves the house more than you do.

Amen. I'm gonna use the milkshake example on the exam and quote it as from Sheik Ibrahim Squire

So, if a girl gets abandoned by her dad for more than 12 years, I can dash in and be her new dad?

I say that if you leave the country and don't take charge of the house, you loose it. Don't you need to pay the taxes and do stuff like cutting the grass?

To enter in this house, I say the State should have a program to sell them and the new buyer have this house until they sell them.

And you should be paying people to check on it, maintain it, keep the lawn mowed and the trees tended.

You walk away and leave it alone for years you don’t need or deserve it
