What is your take on the incel situation?

It’s not like he/she is saying anything that’s true or makes sense, just mean to be mean. I could think of a million mean and accurate things to say about myself personally, but they’re just shooting blanks willy nilly with no regard for much of anything lol

Boy this thread sure escalated quickly. I'm not even sure I'm necroposting at this point and if I am, I'm sorry, but here it goes:
I saw the saddest thing on Sunday happen at an incel forum. This 14 year old girl, I kid you not, went in that forum and asked the guys if they wanted to join a discord server she had cheated that morning. At first I thought she was a troll, others did too and responded to her thread that they weren't being baited, but then she took a photo of herself with a time stamp to prove she was real and not a troll. The guys were still skeptic about it, so they asked her for pictures like "lift your right hand and blink with your left eye", she did and they believed she was a real girl. Then they started calling her a whore, a "roastie" asking for the link for the server, how old she was and why she wanted them in that server. She said "I created this server to talk to you guys everyday because I don't want to go to school and get shot". I don't know if you guys realize how sad this is. How sad it is that the girl is so terrified about being harmed in school that she ended up on the shadiest corner of the internet trying to befriend these man that absolutely hate women because she's scared of being shot. A 14 year old girl should not be worried about this and should not be left alone in a server with a bunch of sexually frustrated men that beat it to lolicon just because she's scared she's going to be murdered in school. Watching something like that happen makes it very difficult for me to see incels as victims.

 

The message these little girls are getting is that they need to look for these guys, send them nudes, cam for them, make them a part of their lives, give them attention or they are going to die. They are too young to even realize they don't need to do that. I find this truly terrifying. How many girls are thinking like that? It's fucked up.

I wanted to like your posts to acknowledge that it’s relevant and important, but I cannot do that. The fact that girls are getting that kind of message at that (or any, holy ****) age is horrific. **** those guys and people like them for spreading that kind of fear.

She wasn't looking for a forum. She went there knowing what she would find. She wanted to "help" them. Her way of helping them was by whoring herself out because she thought if she did that she'd be safe. It wasn't about her wanting to be a part of a forum. It was about her being afraid of them.

 

What the ****, okay the story seems all to familiar, a kid saying they are afraid of getting shot at their school after another shooting in the US.... And to ward off the danger of that was to subject herself to assholes and to be taken advantage of ? Maybe I'm missing something ?

 

Sounds like a setup more that one person could be involved in the troll.

What I don't get about people who can't get laid is, why don't they just fix themselves up to make themselves be more attractive to the opposite sex? Or else, if you do get a girl through intimidation and scare tactics, the sex will just be hate-filled and, that for me, is not enjoyable, at all, so it would totally not be worth it to get it.

 

Or why don't they just buy sex?

 

Just talk to her and tell her that she would only be perpetuating this kind of behavior because if they see that it is working, then they will use coercive tactics to get more. Then the amount of innocent victims getting shot will go up because they see that it is working. The way to stop them is to convince them that their tactics are not working, then they will eventually believe that and the violence will end.
