yeah just the coffee scene with the old woman really fucked me up. I was also 6. literally nothing since has scared me.
probs I haven't seen it since haha. the new movie didn't phase me. exorcist I laughed maniacally . Blair witch I asked for my money back the ring I laughed at friends that jumped . there's tonnes more but they don't affect me. would love to see a movie that raises my bpm
Me too I'm actually really jealous of people that get scared by horror movies, I feel like there's something wrong with me because I don't even get creeped out. #fullydesensitized
yeah...I watched sweeny todd with my sister. when he was slitting throats and dumping bodies down the barber chute we were the only ones in the theatre laughing. let me tell you it was miiiiighty awkward...for them :p
I consider Sweeny Todd a rom com Have you seen Cannibal Holocaust? It's faux snuff and definitely cringe... but imo still not scary
Did you ever post in the old horror forum? I don't remember seeing you in there but I wasn't a serious reg. I remember there used to be horror challenges each week where everyone would be in MSN group chats while watching the same movie
Literally every horror movie and show that happened to be on tv. I've always been a wuss. Even animated shows like The Addams Family scared me.
I swear everything scared me as a kid. I remember not being able to sleep for two nights because I got screamered by a YouTube video. For some reason I used to think my step-grandpa was a cannibal but turns out he probably wasn't. Manned up a bit now luckily but still scared of slugs which I have been my entire life, think it's called Limaxaphobia but too scared to double check over google in case they bamboozle me. Not scared of much else nowadays, but suffer from creepy recurring nightmares featuring bronze masked figures and my dead great grandma.
@Jeb If you describe your recurring dream in this thread -> https://forums.nexopia.com/threads/recurring-dreams.12343/ I'll try to figure out what it means
Thanks! No actually I just came across nexopia stumbling around looking for a place to connect it's lady Lazarus because I love Sylvia Plath..hehe
After watching Exorcist for the first time when I was 6 I started sleeping with all the covers tucked around me like a mummy because my logic was that the devil couldn't pass through sheer linens. This continued even past me coming to terms with the reality that I would not be possessed and I slept that way well up into my early 20s.
