Seasons 1-5 of Supernatural, 10/10. Season one is total monster of the week as it establishes the characters, which is fine because it's fun, with a lot of episodes based on urban legends such as bloddy Mary and the hook man. The first five seasons was a complete story arc planned from the outset, and after the end of season 5, the original showrunner left. Seasons 6-12: 7/10. Complete mixed bag, season 6 was pretty awful, about 3 seasons worth of plots jammed all into it with nothing getting the time it needed. Clearly they didn't have a plan going in. 7 was a lot better, though they made the big bad so strong it's 90% filler episodes because they couldn't really take the fight to them. 8 is just kinda boring, and from then on its decent, fun to watch but nothing too memorable. It's basically existing as fan service at this point, I still watch and enjoy though.
I've been wanting to get into Supernatural for years. I think around the time S5 came out I was like, I'll just wait until it ends and then binge, but it just kept going
I have so many other shows to catch up on before I start a new one though And I want to start Star Trek the next generation lol
Slasher season 2. It's ok. Some good gory kills. I've watched 7 of 9 episodes, and I feel it probably should have only been like 6. It's starting to drag to the finish.
