They draw big money. Expect more.
It used to be "ars gratia artis" (art for art's sake), now it's "let's rewrite the same stories over and over and cash in big time with an audience too busy playing with their phones to notice."
That's why I prefer Bollywood more.

Call Me By Your Name - read the book. I didn't want the movie to ruin it, and it made it so much better. The ending even made my cry.
The Babadook fucking lame.
The remake of Day of the Dead. It was a lot better than the original, but the original kind of sucked. Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead were miles better.
I recently watched Reservoir Dogs. I have all four of the character DVDs.
Really great movie based on a true story. Would give it an 8/10. I had a traumatic flashback 35 seconds in to the movie
If you're a fan of Tobey Maguire, I'm sure your opinon of him as a person will change after watching this.
The Post. It was really good. Spielberg, Streep and Hanks, can't really go wrong there.
