3D is so aggro, I'd rather not see a film at all if 3D is the only option

If I want shit to jump out at me I'll go see something in IMAX 3D. So much better IMO.

I like 3D in the animated movies. I thought the 3D on Star Wars The Force Awakens was also really great. But I prefer regular normally

For myself I never really found the thrill in IMAX anymore when they went full digital, it was way cooler just knowing that the crew had to haul a super expensive massively heavy camera around to get all that footage in very dangerous locations or extremely burdening ways. Now it's basically someone with their phone filming IMAX since the camera resolutions have increased to such levels.

I think the only 2 I enjoyed were space and sea, both gave me vertigo so I guess that's what I like :P

Seriously. Legit IMAX film is awesome. I believe a few Hollywood films have actually been shot on this format and I love the nature docs.

Be kewl just to launch an IMAX Camera into space and record the launch and timelapse going past the moon and mars. With no other added filming, I have no idea how fast the download speeds would be although would be awesome to see the trip Mars astronauts would make before it happened.

I watched the first 1/2 of The Revenant (before falling asleep). It just made me want to visit Alberta.

The Light Between Oceans. Took a friend to it for her birthday. For a sappy chick flick not too bad actually

Hell or High Water and Sully today. Both good, solid films. Jeff Bridges was awesome in Hell or High Water
