I bought a house and new car only own. I'd only ever done that with a other person's income to rely on(ex husband) Now I'm the sole guaranteed income for myself, my child and my boyfriend and I managed it comfortably. It makes me feel like an adult.
Yes and no. He's a realtor but our area is pretty seasonal so he's only really busy late spring-mid fall.
Lol because I love many of my residents and coworkers. Hate management and the bullshit and politics. Also, it's really not enjoyable when residents do things like disimpact themselves and then fingerpaint with their shit. Most homes are also chronically understaffed. We have an average of 6 minutes per resident to perform their care, including shower/bath of its their day to have one. That's fully staffed. We're almost never full staffed so that decreases to about 4 minutes per resident so obviously residents standard of care is not really being met and that's just considered acceptable by our Ministry
They only get so much funding for staffing from the ministry for one thing, and qualifying for more is next to impossible. But, many people just don't want to and can't handle the job either. Also, you get sick a lot. I've been out for over a week with the flu while my work is in outbreak. People who aren't sick are having to work doubles every day etc because so many staff are out sick.
