    So, you're defending passing over Lucy Liu due to racist attitudes of some hardliners?
    You don't have diverse enough tastes in film to have encountered many of the great actors and actresses out there; that's not my fault or problem.
    I said this from the beginning, I'm not sure why you're arguing with me
    Every time you use "ethnicity" then switch back to "white vs non-white", you link ethnicity to skin colour.
    Nothing to be said to all of this, except that I was just answering you:
    If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen (don't ask questions if you're not prepared for the answer)

    @CKVanquish
    I'm emotionless. I honestly don't care.
    I was responding to @Mark CM and you decided to jump in with your emotional commentary.
    I find that you lack logic and an understanding of the nuance of the English language.

    For these reasons, I'm not longer responding to you. Say whatever you want, I really don't care.
    Also, for completeness:

    I'd say maybe the reason that the director or executives or whoever chose Scarlett Johansson and not a Japanese woman is because a lot of Chinese people hate Japanese people because of history. And China accouns for a lot of ticket sales for Hollywood, ao they try to appease them.

    Also Makoto is an android, her body is robotic, and she could have chosen a more white looking robot body for whatever reason.

    Acting is really similar to complex math equations, every movement and every action has already been completed. It just takes someone to solve the step by step formula that really has multiple ending scenarios, this is why most people have reverted to calculators
