Trying to revamp my diet after Christmas and I think snacks are what get me the most. I can meal plan all my other meals easily.. but not my snacks for some reason.
I don't really eat anything overly healthy. Definitely not on a regular basis. I just drink coffee or smoke a cig instead of snacking these days, cause ik how it's like being a bigger guy and I would rather not revert back. I never really stressed over what I ate and I'm not about to start.
Oh yah, hummus is good but it's not thaaat healthy. I usually throw some paprika and olive oil on that bitch and dip it in bread. If it's anything besides Sabra it's probably trash. I've had some really disgusting prepackaged hummus before that's made me want to gag.
I only like cooked carrots lmao. Lately I've been snackin on mainly peaches, strawberries, and cashews. god i fucking love peaches
Dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds I'm on the go constantly and don't have time for messy snack foods so I always have packs of those in my purse/car etc I also usually have a banana somewhere on my person
I dont mind pudding and yogurt, but the ones with fruit on the bottom I can't really do. I prefer to add my own fruit to them anyways.
Lately I've been buying lots of fruits, veggies, nuts/seeds, and cheese to snack on. I find myself snacking better when I only have good stuff on hand. Make myself eat the good stuff.
A bag of baby carrots. Or smash a head of lettuce on your counter and peel off the leaves for a salad.
Another one is you can sprinkle some cinnamon on some food to curb your sugar cravings. It worked for me, lol.
