It is, though. I've eaten the seeds before and the green part. The seeds are definitely the spicy part.

I thought the same, but apparently I was mistaken, all 3 components are relatively spicy, but the filament has the highest level of spice - odds are when you clear the seeds you clear most of that as well
I have a friend who strips all the juice and seeds out of tomatoes when he cooks to make them less watery and give foods a nicer consistency, but it irks me because I find that’s what gives the most flavour as well, the flesh itself isn’t overly flavourful

If you take wheat and grind it up, baked it with other stuff so it turns into bread, and then smothered it in cinnamon and icing
