That first one you posted Skrinkle I've never seen. I usually go for Ichiban. And I've always been too scared to try doing egg with it, it just seems unpleasant to put egg straight into water. I usually throw a few handfuls of frozen veggies in mine
Ramen is the style of noodle, so yeah, ichiban is ramen Adding meat, veggies and egg makes it more authentic restaurant style ramen though - which is amazing instead of poor student meal
