As to the existence of God, all you have to do is look around to behold His creation. As to the truth of The Word, all you need to do is read it, where it says: 2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, And finally, concerning your refusal to see the truth of The Word: 1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
I've looked around, I don't see any god. I can see that the sky is blue on certain situation. But I've never seen god at all. I can't communicate with something that doesn't exist.
I'm quite convinced by now that you're not actually a Christian. A well trained preacher will have no issue answering my question. Descartes and Kant are the basis of Christian theology in any seminary. But these are things that you actually must read and not copy pasted from the internet. Your lack of understanding in the philosophical basis of Christianity makes it really hard for me to see you as an actual reverend. More like just a random troll posing to be one but got exposed due to his insufficient knowledge of Christianity.
The world isn't perfect because nobody designed it. There is no guarantee that our species - which is only very recently introduced into the geologic time scale - will continue to exist in the future. You just need another giant meteor to send everyone of us into extinction.
Because you lack knowledge in Christian theology, you can only repeat the same banal statements again and again.
I need only know The Word. I don't need your philosophers and scientists when I have God's Living Word.
Did you know that one of the reasons why Protestantism took off was because they proved that The Word wasn't unadulterated?
Mcpon just made the reverend so she could still post about religion now that sharkbait and Markfl are gone
And here you are again. Malachi 3:11 - And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Proverbs 27:3 - A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both. Translation: I find your foolishness tiresome. There, do you find comprehension now?
Thank you for sharing. I likewise find your foolishness tiresome, it’s just babbling, any trained monkey could quote scripture and pretend to be holy
Never once felt even remotely intimidated or defeated, sad for you many times, as your understanding of things seems... desperately limited and without factual basis. Perhaps I’ll pray for you.
