I think the agricultural revolution was a little more influential as it allowed the industrial revolution to happen but they're sure both contenders!

Yep, it helped make glasses widespread, the Hindu-Arabic numerals widespread. It led to the emergence of copyright laws. Etc. Referring to Gutenberg.

I read somewhere that beer helped lead to communities forming, therefore sedentary lifestyles, therefore agriculture, because they did agriculture in order to produce beer and also hunting and gathering was probably not sufficient enough for food, lol.

What about the guy who made the car run off water? What about that guy. Oh ya, national security took his patent away. Many brilliant minds squandered by the government. There are no more great minds left just greed

That's a pretty intriguing theory, I know alcohol was very important for the ancient britons here in the UK. Did some amateur archaeology with my town's uni and it seems like all we dug up was endless pieces of beakers.

But Allah/Jehovah has been kind of a dick if you think about it. Definitely not what was advertised back in the day.

Yeah, if you believe that Allah/Jehovah exists. The real dicks are the people doing horrible things in their name.

    True.

If you read the scripture there’s a really inconsistent mix of love and terror, far too much conflicting message that allows for all kinds of atrocities while forbidding them at the same time.

Not surprising, if you take a collection of books written by countless authors at different times, translate, misinterpret en edit it multiple times, and then declare it THE WORD OF GOD!

To them it was not horrible because their morals and values were different. Yahweh was a tribal god and those people were living in an ancient era.
