No, they just sucked. Eric because he wouldn't follow the Nexopia rules and made his decisions based on personal preference when it came to banning/freezing accounts.

And MichealR because he was literally the downfall of Nexopia. That idiot gave us admin access and we shut down the site because he thought that would somehow bring posters back to the forum.

@Vassago The thing with Eric freezing/banning, didn't all the admins do that? I thought it was always a case by case scenario, and up to the admin that answered the ticket. Known trouble makers were dealt with a bit more harshly than random users.

Who were the ones that transferred all teens topics to AS and all AS topics to teens?

The rules used to be pretty lenient and I liked pushing the limits, so I would post stuff that technically wasn't against the rules but they didn't like anyways, so the rules were actually altered a number of times because of me. But then I'd find a new grey area and push the limits there so then they'd either adjust the rules accordingly and let me be, or sometimes give me the ban anyways because they knew what I was trying to do.

I think I have a lot of those kinds of posts saved somewhere. I recall posting erotica where it describes the girl in detail and really makes her sound underage, what with the pigtails and nearly flat chest and all. So that was considered child porn and I got a global ban for 3 days. It was always fun, see what I could get away with and how I could try and talk myself out of a new potential ban.

The admins eventually made the private SUPER SECRET FORUM and invited a couple of trouble-makers where we could post as much bannable or near-bannable material as possible. It was going to be used to train future mods with what material actually broke the rules and whatnot. I think I have a screenshot of it, lemme see. At the time, we weren't allowed to talk about the forum or were threatened with a lifetime account freeze.

After HumanFallacy left and Eric started modding AS, he froze my account for some posts that were pretty tame in comparison to most of my others and I argued that it broke no rules. Eventually I got him to admit that the rules don't matter and he doesn't have to follow them, Nexopia is like a party and if guests are unwanted, they can kick them out with no reason. I didn't like that, I argued quite a bit but to no avail, my account was frozen for good.

My fiance's account was also eventually frozen because they thought I was posting from her account but we just lived together, so that pissed me off too. I tried to show him that her posting style had not changed at all from when she was posting before I was frozen, but that didn't matter.

Then 1 1/2 years passed and a lot of people left Nexopia and it was dying, Eric was no longer a mod so I contacted ari13 and she was cool and unfroze my account. I was so excited, but the place was now dead.

Lol, having a fun time looking through my photobucket and being reminded of old times.

Here's the SUPERSECRETAWESOMEFORUM (pls dun ban me from Nexopia!)

I was banned for this for depicting porn even though there is no porn or nudity visible:

Banned for this one for gore. I pretended that I was badly burned from a fire-retardant chemical that another poster sent to me. I said that it was inflammable until it fully dried, which at that point it became a fire-retardant. People wanted me to prove it so I made this sign pic for them. She was really unhappy with me because she thought it was true and felt really bad.

This one was stupid. I was banned for submitting this in a contest looking for new site skins.

I enjoyed this one, put lots of effort into it. I got a 3 day global ban for that one, even though I tried to argue that it was actually a knowledgeable and helpful page to AVOID pedophiles and was simply submitted as satire.

I used to hide links in my sig. This one was pretty obviously racist and worth a ban, but I don't have a screenshot of the final sig. It said Niger and each face linked to a picture of a Niger Catfish except for 2 or three faces that actually linked to porn images. I never got caught for some of those. My favorite was a picture of Abraham Lincoln but it was actually a bunch of pictures spliced together to create a large one. The eye of Abraham was a link to a gore site.

Oh yeah, and I would submit complaints or articles to cause shit. One or two actually made it to the site and was published as an article.

Many of the admin of Nexopia.com are just as unsatisfied with the running of the site as the users are! Corruption has become rampant over the years and many admin are leaving now while they still have a chance. The ones willing to stay have no say in the matter and have become puppets of Nexopia, silenced by the powers by a promise of free Plus for life. Smeigel and robdavy were the first to abandon ship and the corruption of power quickly spread after that after friends of existing admins were turned into mods as more were now needed. Many of these "people" had no experience with the site and used their power to hand out bans even if they didn't go against Nexopia rules, which I might add, were already being broken daily by the Nexopia staff themselves.

This is what smeigel had to say regarding his thoughts on what Nexopia has become: "this place is gay now LOL!!"

Trying to communicate with another longtime admin Dexx about the freezing of several users, yet not banning them as is stated in the rules, he had this to say: "[It's] Like being asked to leave a private party really."

Humanfallacy and ari13 had this to say regarding some people that were given mod powers because of their relationships with other admins: "That guy was a total ******", "I don't even know why he was a mod", "Titanic was a moron."

Humanfallacy was also heard to have said: "We have no room for humor on this site, you should know that by now." and stated that people should simply make fake accounts with proxies instead of having the Nexopia staff make a firm set of rules that mods users on intent, rather than on a mods own opinion.

Is this the kind of site that you want your children growing up with?

    I thought not.

    Dear Nexopia Staff,

I'm just a regular Nexopia user like any other out there. I enjoy browsing the profiles of various users, checking out their likes and dislikes to see if they have anything in common with me, sending the generic "HAI U R 2 QUTE! TMD!!", and cruising through the forums. I take great joy in doing this every day and it's a great way to relax and pass the time. Unfortunately, I've been having a bit of a problem lately.

I understand the forum rules quite well and try my best every day to abide by them, although there are times that I make a slight slip and I get a stern talking to or a short ban. Lately, however, I've noticed one particular mod going out of his way to make my Nexopia experience an unpleasant one. He's been using his power to make it look like I've been breaking rules when I clearly have not in any way. Normally, I just let it go as this is only the internet and one should not get too caught up in it, but it's been gradually becoming more frequent and irritating. In fact, it's gotten so bad that it has led me to write up this letter for you.

Most of the times that I have a problem with is when he bans me and not other people. I may have done the exact same thing in a thread as many other people have, but I get singled out and receive a harsher punishment. I admit that at times the bans are legit, but why is it that the original perpetrator gets off scott free? An example of this is when someone makes a bannable post and I then quote them and add a :imslow: emoticon at the end. I receive a ban for quoting a bannable post, but the user that made that post doesn't get punished at all since they are friends with this mod.

There's been a few recent events that have annoyed me as well. At one point I had received a week long ban. I didn't think that it was fair and I quoted the rules to him in a private message and highlighted the part that proved that I was innocent. Instead of being a professional and apologizing, he instead proceeded to CHANGE the wording of the rules so that I was to blame! If that's not abuse of power I don't know what is!

There was another incident just today. I have had a picture up in my signature for about a months time now of John Arbuckle telling Garfield that "They're in the oven now." obviously referring to the lasagnas that Garfield the cat loves so dearly. No one had a problem with that comic for weeks until I pointed out to this mod how humorous I found it that a fat cat loves lasagna. Not steak, or potatoes, or salmon, but LASAGNA of all things! I guess that he wanted to ruin my enjoyment, so he also went ahead and ruined my signature! I'm not sure how he did it, but I believe that he copied and pasted the cartoon into his MS Paint program and then proceeded to add a small Hitler mustache onto Garfield the cat, making the comic become a horrible reference to the Holocaust! He then used his mod powers to edit my signature and put this new picture into it instead of the original one. Because it was now against the rules, he then promptly deleted it and left the generic "This signature breaks the rules, etc..." message.

That's not what put me over the edge though, and prompted me to write this up. It was this: Just a few hours ago I created a new forum rank that was directed at no one and waited for it to be accepted. I guess that this same mod happened to pass over it and decided that he'd have a little bit of fun at my expense. He proceeded to delete my original forum rank and change it to "SHITTY FORUM RANK"! Enough is enough! I have done nothing to hurt or insult anyone on Nexopia yet I'm being targeted by this mod and he's making my free time not fun at all!

So, I ask of you that you please remove the mod powers from the user HumanFallacy. He is certainly not mature enough to use them in a professional manner and would much rather use his power to laugh at users that he does not care for. Thank you, and have a good day
