I find the concept of a soul to be hard to believe. Some sects of some religions do believe that animals are equal hence why many Hindus are vegetarians, not even eating egg. Would you ever be vegetarian?
I would probably be a vegetarian if I wasn't with Mr Wrecky I find the cooking and nutritional balancing act easier without meat, but he loves him some dead animal protein
I had become mostly vegetarian when I moved to Glasgow because meat was so much more expensive. But I think the decision to not try to be vegetarian was always a matter of convenience and I am starting to really reconsider how much my convenience is worth, more than the cows life for example. And I think what living on my own without a lot of money for eating out has taught me is that it's not actually going to be that difficult so I am currently weaning myself off of meat altogether.
You value life differently, you ate a cow but you don't ate herbert. TBH I don't get that guilty feeling from eating a chicken either. So my first step was to just stop eating beef, now I'm off chicken too though.
Yeah, I was pretty sad when daddy tod me the koi died RIP I also accidentally killed a snail This year, when I was moving artwork, I let my guard down once I entered the building but he was on the floor inside and then I manslaughtered him with my foot. I couldn't reenter that room because it reminded me of becoming a murderer.
I'll never forget the time I caught a mouse and let it go outside only to find a few days later all her babies that had starved to death in my dresser
