At a Q&A between the audiences and Dawkins+Krauss, Dawkins made a very bourgeoisie reply to a question, shocking everyone in attendance. Fortunately, Krauss was quick to soften Dawkins rhetoric to make more palatable to the people listening. I forgot which YouTube clip it is but the question was something along the line of ignorance of among the poor due to lack of education.

Dawkins is clearly right-leaning and that's unfortunate because I used to love his lectures.

Yes, Prof. Dawkins has received a good deal of criticism for being somewhat detrimental to the war on superstitions by being somewhat harsh.

    You've acted high and mighty against the old religions but are completely silence when a new religion is created. @SAKARINBO advocated this version of Feminism;

Is this the birth of Feminazism's Darwinian life engineering? In which a human being is defined by its ability to be self-aware and thus consequently anyone who are mentally defected risk themselves to be lumped together with these fetuses, as unwanted side products of nature that are almost humans - but not yet!

The religions of the old ignore science but the religion of the new world - pervert it.

I am against all religions, as being toxic. The old ones are just more pervasive.

You're trying to ignore the grim situation. Feminism is as anti free speech as any other religion.

My thing is claims made without evidence being dressed up like "facts," intellectual honesty, and all the many harms done to society by religions. Anything can be taken too far, but what I'm hoping to discuss in this thread is the war on religion. :)

I really like Lawrence Krauss. I like Dawkins too but he is much more enjoyable when he sticks to talking specifically about evolution and doesn’t deviate too far from the science thing. He gets too far into religious stories and he ends up with his foot in his mouth.

How should I know? Feminists make up stuff all the time. But I find your distinction disturbingly interesting. By assigning self-awareness as the definitive characteristic of being human, you are in effect do find it morally justifiable to inflict pain and suffering to a fetus that has well developed nervous system so long as it isn't aware of itself.

How do you actually test self-awareness on a fetus anyway?

To be more clear, the definition of religion I am using is:

The belief in and worship of a supernatural controlling power, especially a personal god or gods.

That definition fits Feminism perfectly because they do believe in women's supernatural ability.

Weird that you think that. I think there are social circles and a vocal minority of people who maybe claim to be feminist that try to silence ideas they find offensive or damaging.
When we talk about free speech I assume we are talking about government and law protecting its people when they speak their mind, but it goes both ways. You can say whatever you want (as long as it’s not a threat of physical violence) but the law can’t protect you from any verbal backlash that you brought on by spouting unpopular opinions. If you say something publicly that the company you work for doesn’t want being conflated with their own beliefs they have a right to let you go. If I am working for a small business and the owner is religious, I would never consider slandering their religion in public in case customers recognize me as being a face of that business.
how do you really test self awareness lmao
People are afraid of babies and people are afraid of mentally ill or severely handicapped people too, maybe because we don’t know how self aware they are? By scared I mean don’t know how to act. I’m not saying that it justifies tossing them aside at all. I’m saying why do people get all fussed about a fetus that doesn’t have self awareness and they have no attachment to. I can’t wrap my head around it. I would hope that people who are mentally ill enough that we question how self aware they are have someone in their life that cares for them although I know many don’t.

We're talking about fetus here, not baby. You want fetus to die don't you?

Potatoes don’t have self awareness, their life belongs to whomever is making soup.

Yeah, I don't know where you get your biology education from but potatoes aren't fetuses. You're avoiding the implication of your Feminazism ideology.
