Do you think some things are better left unsaid?

For example, if someone was raped/molested by their friends best friend, should they tell their friend and risk destroying relationships? Or should they be vague and just support the cause without giving their experience with it?

I think some things, like sexual harassment, are worse left unsaid. When things go unsaid, there are no consequences, and it can continue. No one should have to endure such abuse from anyone, and I think it needs to be exposed wherever it exists.

Why did something famous have to happen first before a movement against the age-old crime of sexual assault start?

I'm sure some stuff are better to be unsaid but I'm not talking about your example at all.

I was sexually assaulted or harassed by a guy in my apartment building, my friend wanted me to report it to the property manager, but I didn't think it was a a big enough deal to warrant him possibly losing his place.

Should I tell people the kind of fantasy I have for my teacher back when I was just a kid?

I think now because it’s easier to do when everyone else is doing it too. You have a better chance of people believing you instead of brushing it under the rug or saying you’re a liar.

I would say #ifnotnowwhen? It's high time those abusing their positions to abuse others is hauled out into the light of day.

Emotions are of the mind. When people start living in the spirit nothing can harm them.
