    That REALLY sucks.

Not to gloat, but I've got the day off, and heading out for a putt. I'll find a couple of gophers and make a blood sacrifice to the Gods of Summer for you.

Article in the news today suggested rising average temperatures might be verging on reactivating volcanic activity in the Rockies and surrounding mountain ranges. There are many inactive but not necessarily extinct volcanos in those ranges

    Somehow that wouldn't be surprising.

Interesting read, I hope they’re wrong lol

Or not wrong I guess - be cool as long as my house doesn’t get crushed by falling debris or we don’t choke on toxic fumes

I listened to that program, and yeah, it was an eye opener.

Several years ago CBC did a program about the global temperature actually decreasing due to volcanic activity. The amount of ash that spewed into the atmosphere formed a 'sunblock'. Of course the environmentalists debunked the whole story, but it makes you realize how many factors influence our climate and weather.

We'll ship it to you. I've had enough snow and ice to last the next 3 winters. I put 500 miles on my tire chains this winter.
