Do you have one? No one at work knows my name because my email signature is just a W I constantly get emails addressed to Wendy or Wanda lol but my favourite was when someone sent me a "Dear Winona" The only other person that works in my office is the guy I'm training to take over for me, and his name also starts with a W so I'm pretty sure he's going to get the Wanda/Wendy emails when I'm gone.
@MarkFL I would have to number all the its to keep them straight. Unless they're all garbage employees, then I guess it wouldn't matter which one showed up when you called
If I'm at my desk and don't feel like coming to the door to glare, I just yell for it, and then when they amass, point to the it I want, and dismiss the its I don't want with an irritated wave of my hand.
You really are a sir I've never been comfortable with that level of respect.. I used to have my retail team call me Chef instead of boss because it seemed less formal
Those its that don't like this arrangement get the "I would hate to think you are unhappy being employed..." lecture.
Ironically, it was my experience that Navy Chiefs hate to be called "Sir." I did that once with our Command Master Chief, and he was like, "Lookit, boy...Don't call me sir...I actually work for a living!"
And they hate it when you say, "Sorry, Chief" because they take it as calling them a "sorry Chief," lol.
