And by study I mean study in detail like exam material. Not memorize it like a poem, but basically know it well enough as to be able to pass a rigorous Ph.D written exam in Biblical Studies. You get 100 in-depth questions (50 from The Old and 50 from The New Testament) and you have to get at least 51 of them right to pass. If you pass, you get paid 1 million Canadian dollars. If you don't pass, you get nothing.

Probably not because if I don't pass, I would have wasted all of that effort and time. And that is time that I cannot get back. :(

If you don't pass, you would still have enough Biblical knowledge to get a paid job as a preacher or a Christian motivational speaker or something...

1,000,000 Canadian Dollar equals to 279,504,000.00 Nigerian Naira that's very huge! :D I'll do it for the money :)

I did it for fun. Read the whole thing cover to cover.

It makes no sense at all reading in that manner, for the record, just a jumbled collection of stories that drastically conflict with one another. Don’t ever do that if you want to maintain your faith.

That's why I don't read the Bible because it will make me pissed off at God, lol.

Oh dear! Someone better tell that to all those (thousands of) Christian apologists and saints who not only have dedicated their entire lives to studying The Bible and writing commentary about how it's largely an infallible book, but also grew in their faith and performed miracles that science has yet to find an explanation for...

Not only is that a personal attack (which violates rule number 6), but your post doesn't even provide an answer for the thread's question. :(

Many questions about the bible can have multiple answers, depending on which part of the bible you use to answer them. So no, I have better things to do.

I wouldn't stop studying the Bible for a million U.S. dollars, or any amount. You can have my Bible when you pry it from my cold dead hands. :)

The reason they have to study it constantly is because they need to find meaning in it, which they’ve so far failed to do.
