Yes! Studying something doesn’t mean I have to subscribe to it

But wouldn't it make it more tolerable to study it if you buy into it?

Probably less so, the deeper you go the more it’s likely to shake faith.

Well, then you got to create arguments to strengthen your faith. :)

Different books were written later by scholars who collected the information from tales told about years past that nobody actually remembers, so the accuracy is questionable, and the whole thing is just a crude interpretation?

I'll take that as a yes. My current argument is the singularity supposedly in the center of a black hole which, according to some scientists, logic gets thrown out the window, so that is evidence that God might exist because the reasoning to conclude that He exists isn't based on logic. Black hole singularities doesn't make sense to the rational mind and we are always told that God is a mystery that we can't comprehend the existence of, so we just have to have faith that He does. :)

Black holes are just collapsed stars, solid matter so dense that their gravitational pull is immense enough that they even attract light. They’re solid objects, not actually holes - think a really intense magnet

    What's a black hole's singularity, then?

I know originally all that was observed was the gravitational effect, and one of the theories that was considered was that it was like a drain, leading to another place, or dimension, with matter being pulled through

After more observation they seem to have shifted to it being an ultra dense body with immense gravitational pull. Like the universe’s trash compactors. If you got close enough to one your entire mass would probably wind up squished into an amount of space that would make a spec of dust on earth look massive

I just got done reading an article on black hole singularities and they say that it is a point where space and time is twisted infinitely but how does that manifest, exactly? And it also says that logic and rational thinking goes out the window in it.

It says that it doesn't make sense in there and an example it used was of an elephant flying out at you if you were in front of it.
